The “pinkest road” illustrate Suisio (BG), the small town where I live, without images that represent it specifically, as if it were the archetype of the province and suburbs typical of a specific area of Northern Italy. My research has focused on everyday life, trying to describe the monotonous life of a marginal area, in a residential context consisting mainly of houses built over the years around a small historic town centre. From this collection of pictures, it emerges the man’s continuous effort to try maintaining control over the environment, where nature can only exist in the controlled and tamed form of gardens and ordered hedges, but where the same nature tries to take up space emerging from the cracks in the asphalt.
